This 5 star hotel needed to upgrade its laundry equipment. They chose high spin washers over medium spin washers for a few reasons:

- minimal site preparation and an easy transition.

- maximising energy efficiency as more water is extracted during the final spin = less drying time.

- faster operation.

- Power balance - high spin washers have an accelerometer on the drum that measures the real time vibration and ensures maximum dewatering whilst minimising wear and tear.

Paired with Electrolux’s unique smart dosing system, which weighs the load and adjusts the detergent according to the weight of the load, they could ensure optimum results, generate detergent savings and pull management reports showing usage and costing statistics.

Needing a premium finish and high productivity, this hotel chose 2 x IC43320 ironers. Cylinder heated ironers have 123 degrees larger contact surface than chest heated ironers. This creates higher evaporation yielding a faster production time and a better finish. 

In order to process smaller loads and guest laundry, they chose our Industrial 9kg washer and dryer set. By choosing industrial products over commercial products, they achieved the following:

- 3 times the expected life span (30’000 cycles vs 10’000 cycles).

- Half the processing time which results in resource savings.

- The option to be able to run smaller loads that still need to be sanitised or disinfected.

- The option to process Spa items that need to have oils removed by washing at temperature.
