This hotel needed to upgrade its laundry equipment and chose the most resource efficient brand in the market, Electrolux Professional Laundry Solutions. They chose a high spin washer over a medium spin washer for a few reasons:
- Minimal site preparation and an easy transition.
- Maximising energy efficiency as more water is extracted during the final spin = less drying time and energy savings.
- By installing the machines on a raised plinth, it allowed them to have the best practise drainage system by using an open gulley drain. The raised height also allowed for easy loading and offloading from the laundry trolleys.
- Power balance - high spin washers have an accelerometer on the drum that measures the real time vibration and ensures maximum dewatering whilst minimising wear and tear.
